Yes Bank has launched its social media-themed cybersecurity campaign, “Aise Sawaal Hum Nahi Poochte,” which focuses on the role the bank and customers share in protecting digital transactions from hackers and cybercriminals.
The social media campaign revolves around a series of 6 animated short films depicting comedic scenarios in which hackers attempt to trick consumers into revealing personal banking information such as passwords and OTPs. Instead of falling for their ploys – suspicious calls, texts and emails, customers are presented as being aware of and alert to these forms of threats to their online security. As part of the campaign, a series of facts were deployed to draw the customer’s attention to digital security. The campaign focuses on educating consumers by highlighting common security risks through everyday scenarios as well as ways to mitigate them.
Jasneet Bachal, Marketing Director of Yes Bank, said: âIn the age of digitization, banks are constantly emphasizing the importance of cybersecurity. The challenge of this campaign was to come up with a new concept to move the security conversation forward and overlay it with a message that also empowers the consumer and the bank rather than just educational. By emphasizing through the campaign that consumers can know when their information is at risk and react appropriately, the bank hopes to get consumers to share the essential role of protecting their information and transactions.
