Truecaller returns with the #JamTheScam campaign

Truecaller’s #JamTheScam campaign aims to put an end to the incessant fraudulent calls that result in the loss of large sums of money that ruin people’s party atmosphere.

The #JamTheScam campaign started around Diwali last year with Bollywood comedian Johnny Lever’s twins Jamie and Jessie.

Conceptualized by Wirality, the second season of this campaign collaborated with Johnny, Jamie and Jessie Lever to spoil the party for these scammers.

The film is conceptualized by Schbang …

Manan Shah, Director, Marketing – India, Truecaller, said: “The first season of #JamTheScam has been a huge success for us, in terms of making people aware of the different types of spam and scams they can encounter in daily life. Taking a step ahead of our learnings from the previous year and helping people stay away from such scams, we are happy to bring #JamTheScam Season 2 to our users. We have tried to communicate an important message that people will understand and enjoy watching at the same time. “

Saanand Warrier, CEO of Wirality, said: “#JamTheScam is a very special property for us. It was our first big collaboration with Truecaller, something that paved the way for some great work going forward. Therefore, this time around, we wanted to make the campaign special, while keeping the essence of last year still alive, and Johnny Lever and his family fit into the campaign perfectly.

Sourya Bhattacharjee, Creative Manager at Wirality, said, “The word ‘goal’ can take many forms, from brand authenticity to improving human lives and improving them. Therefore, for Jam the Scam, the conscious effort was to stay away from the regular festive messages around gifts and celebrations. Truecaller’s spam blocking feature is really effective against scam calls, so we thought about forming a vigilante group and calling scammers, so that they don’t waste your time or money. Season two is a riot as Johny Lever takes center stage. “
