Myntra unveiled its latest commercials starring its brand ambassador, Samantha Akkineni, as part of a branding campaign launched earlier this month.
The campaign aims to strengthen Myntra’s position as “India’s fashion expert,” featuring a diverse cast of superstars admired for their movies and fashion, the company said in a press release.
Akkineni will appear in two commercials promoting western and ethnic women’s clothing, primarily on electronic and digital platforms in the south.
With the deployment of new commercials, Myntra aims to strengthen its connection with its consumers, to influence and accelerate the business, strengthening its leadership in the market. The brand’s campaign was developed to reach out to the ever-growing community of fashion lovers from all walks of life and to make fashion expertise accessible, he added.
In commercials, viewers see Akkineni being cast as a personification of the Myntra brand, as she guides them through the brand’s value propositions, with varying origins and looks. Akkineni appears chic and classy in films for Western and ethnic clothing respectively.
