Policybazaar, an online life and general insurance aggregator, has launched three TVCs that are part of the “No Insurance Day” campaign. It aims to sensitize individuals who postpone their decision to protect their loved ones against uncertainties.

The campaign takes a humorous look at the most absurd reasons not to purchase insurance, while proving that securing your family’s financial future is extremely essential.

The premise of the campaign is to make people laugh about a very basic human trait, “procrastination,” as well as realizing what life would be like without a safety net in place. People ignore the importance of Medicare and Term Life Insurance until they see a realizing moment when they are experiencing a shock in their lives.

The campaign captures the idea that overall insurance penetration in India is extremely low, consumers are either underinsured or uninsured. Indian consumers often procrastinate and overlook the benefits of having health insurance and term life insurance. While we always hope for the best, we must also be prepared for the worst. It is imperative that we do not delay the decision to secure our loved ones.
