Online gaming platform WinZO has launched a new “game badal do” campaign featuring Indian cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni. The campaign aims to inspire users to fuel their passion to the next level to unleash their true potential and achieve success.
The advertising campaign includes five sketches conceptualized by Piyush Pandey of Ogilvy and WinZO. The sketches have characters drawing inspiration from Dhoni’s journey and sees him promoting WinZO.
WinZO Sports, the company’s e-sports arm, also recently announced title sponsors with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) for TATA IPL 2022. In addition to that, WinZO had signed up as the title sponsor for two major Vivo Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) teams, Bengal Warriors and Gujarat Giants, plus associated sponsorship for Patna Pirates.
Saumya Singh Rathore, co-founder of WinZO, said, “The campaign slogan, ‘Game Badal Do’, really encapsulates our vision for both WinZO and the Indian gaming industry. Just like MSD and the characters sketches, we are determined to unlock the true potential of the Indian gaming industry and establish India at the top of this rapidly emerging global market. This campaign is an important step in that direction, and we would like to congratulate everyone involved in bringing this phenomenal campaign to fruition. Piyush Pandey, Chairman of Global Executive and Creative Chairman, Ogilvy India, said: As WinZO and MSD who propagate the same values of resilience, excellence and winning, have truly enhanced the creative process and its result is evident in the campaign.
