BKV SEM Director Launches New AMA Marketing Series

Honoré will teach the basics of search engine marketing in a two-hour crash course on September 16 at 8:30 am.

The Atlanta Chapter of the American Marketing Association has added a new marketing series to its 2016 lineup. The new series kicks off Kimberly Honore, Vice President, Director of Search Engine Marketing at BKV, a full-service direct and digital marketing agency. The AMA Atlanta Marketing Series will offer free marketing courses to members and the first topic of discussion is paid research. Honoré will teach the basics of search engine marketing in a two-hour crash course on September 16 at 8:30 am.

Honoré has more than ten years of experience in the world of interactive marketing. She is familiar with search management platforms, including Marin, and has worked for B2B and B2C brands such as AT&T, Hubzu, Owners.com, DS Services, Wounded Warrior Project and March of Dimes.

Participants can expect to learn the following:

  • Common SEM terminology
  • How auctions work
  • Ad formats and extensions
  • Multi-device auctions
  • Best practices
  • Monitoring and reporting

Paid Search 101 will also explore major changes and new trends in the space over the past year.
