Automotive technology company CarDekho has announced the release of a new campaign featuring its brand ambassador, Bollywood actor Akshay Kumar. The campaign titled “Bharosa kar ke dekho” will go live on March 26, during the inauguration of the Indian Premier League 2022.

The campaign ad highlights the importance of trust and convenience when selling a car from your home. Kumar plays the role of a loving father who sells his car without missing the precious moments of life. TVC points out that with CarDekho, one can sell their car from the comfort of their home without missing out on quality time with loved ones. The campaign will air on national and regional TV channels, over-the-top (OTT) and digital media platforms.

The campaign was created by Leo Burnett.

“It’s great to have collaborated with Akshay Kumar again after our first release in 2020, which was a huge success,” said Charu Kishnani, SVP of Marketing at CarDekho.

“The goal of our campaign is to show how CarDekho brings convenience by helping people sell their cars from the comfort of their homes. Akshay’s charisma is a perfect fit for CarDekho, a company that strives to make life easier and better. The ad showcases a unique bond between father and daughter and highlights a real experience of selling a car with CarDekho. This is the 1st of many to come. With this new TVC, we seek to replicate the success we scripted earlier and hope that customers will restore their trust in us,” she added.

The advertising campaign includes five sketches conceptualized by Piyush Pandey of Ogilvy and WinZO. The sketches have characters drawing inspiration from Dhoni’s journey and see him promoting WinZO. The company has also signed on as the title sponsor of two major Vivo Pro Kabaddi League (PKL) teams, Bengal Warriors and Gujarat Giants, as well as an associate sponsor for Patna Pirates…

The four-film advertising campaign, which went live on March 24 across all platforms, focuses on the mobility giant’s car and motorcycle driving services. Created by FCB India, the four advertisements show snippets of the lives of Indians who show an indomitable spirit to face and overcome the obstacles that stand in their way…
